garlic & rosemary white beans hummus

This hummus is great served with raw vegetables, pitas or even as a spread in a falafel wrap.  I also like thining it with soy yogurt and using it as a salad dressing. I made this with white beans which give the hummus a silky, thin and soft texture.

garlic & rosemary white beans hummus

2 cups cooked white beans, drained
2 cloves of garlic
2 TS olive oil
2 TS tahini
1 TS fresh rosemary
2 TS lemon juice
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts smoked paprika
1/4 ts chili powder

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Drizzle with 1 TB of olive oil and/or lemon juice and garnish with some fresh rosemary.

  1. This is so pretty!!! I love using white beans in hummus. It has such a nice, smooth texture. Of course, rosemary is awesome with white bean hummus. I’ve had it with sage as well, which is also quite tasty.
